CARAVAN FOR WATER BEGINS MAY 15 AND 17
The Water Ride Ce Atl is a participatory movement of individual and group intentions in self-managed process and seeking solidarity needs to convene and share initiatives on water management and its different problematic practices in the urban population and rural areas including the Basin of Mà © xico. Our goal is to raise awareness about the water crisis, to build alternatives around the integral management of the watershed of the Rivers Amecameca, The Company ± ia and Lake Tlahà No ac-Xico for being a Region of vital importance to the environmental balance of the Valley Mà © xico. Various stakeholders
we have jointly organized and active to find concrete solutions to the problematic practices such as water scarcity today, cracking, sequÃa agrÃcola and floods. Universidad Autonoma Metropolitana and its Programme of Research ³ n Sierra Nevada (Pisna) in conjunction with the Center for Sustainability Incalli-Ixcahuicopa (centli) and the commission of the watershed of the Rivers Amecameca and the company ± Aa, we have been conducting participatory research generating © s interest from the communities to carry a message of hope and feasible solutions to the environmental reality.

These organizations promote the call for a â € œCaravana for Water Ce Atla € from May 15 to June 5 in order to raise awareness through © s of art, the reflection n and culture, the situation n water stress Valley MÃ © xico and join efforts with the community and encourage it to generate alternatives for Management & solution n under the guidelines of Plan water stress freshly © n approved by the commission Basin Rivers Amecameca and the company ± AA as a tool for the definition n of the availability, use and exploitation of the resource water stress, as well the strategies, priorities and policies for achieving balance regional development advance the sustainable and integral management of resources. A team of hydraulic ³ logos, environmental engineers, land owners, water officials, government and local communities we have the situation ³ n current subbasin of rivers Amecameca and the company ± Ã ¬ a in Relation to Lake Tla HUAC-Xico. The â € œCaravana for Water Ce € Athletics 3 includes several municipalities and federal district delegations Tla HUAC, Xochimilco and Iztapalapa where the problematic policy of water is most acute s far we get during the trip.
